Amazon introduziu um despertador de radar que monitora o sono do usuário

E-commerce giant launches alarm clock that monitors user sleep

Amazon has launched a novelty called Halo Rise, which combines a night light, an alarm clock and a device to track the user's sleep quality. The company reports that the novelty uses “contactless” sleep monitoring technology, which eliminates the need to wear fitness trackers or smart watches.

The company says the novelty does not have cameras and microphones, but tracks the user's movements and breathing patterns through built-in sensors, including radar. The company claims that if the device's owner isn't alone in bed, it will track the breathing of the person closest to him.

Halo Rise also integrates light, humidity and temperature sensors. In the morning, the device will inform the user how he slept. Before waking the user, Halo Rise selects the appropriate sleep phase to make the process as troublesome as possible, and then simulates "dawn" with lighting elements.

Halo Rise plugs into the mains, so you don't need to charge it. The novelty integrates with other Amazon smart home devices. Specifically, the user can ask the Echo smart speaker how it slept and get the basic data collected by Halo Rise. In addition, the novelty can recognize the moment when the user goes to bed and turn on soft music for him in the mentioned column. You can also ask Alexa for a night light to wake the user to their favorite music.

The model costs US$ 139.99 and will go on sale later this year. In addition, the user will receive six months of Amazon's Halo fitness service as a gift.
