COMPUTEX 2024
Mini PC Cybertruck appears with exclusive design and unclear specifications
Jumper Tech has unveiled a mini PC that is unlike anything else on the market. Styled like a Tesla Cybertruck with functional doors and a rear bumper that covers its modest set of ports, this PC is most likely targeted more as a novelty for Tesla lovers than a computer that serves any meaningful purpose.
A Tesla Cybertruck-styled mini PC from Jumper Tech has made a surprise appearance at Computex 2024, which was spotted by Twitter user Dominico Lamberti. The specifications and other details of this unique-looking PC remain vague, but its design alone is almost certain to attract plenty of attention.
In April of 2020, renowned YouTuber Marques Brownlee reviewed a Tesla Model S-themed PC that boasted remarkably high-end specs for the time, including a Ryzen 9 3900X and an RTX 2080 Ti. Hilariously enough, this 'Tesla' PC was actually driveable and could reach a top speed of 6 mph. Country to the Model S PC, the Cybertruck PC is far smaller, likely stationary, and presumably won't feature nearly as many high-end components.
Judging from Dominco's Twitter post, the Cybertruck PC appears to have functional doors with what seems like a decently detailed interior and a rear bumper that conceals a humble selection of ports, including 1x USB Type-A, 2x USB Type-C, and an HDMI port. We have no details regarding the specifications of these ports, and the same can be said for the rest of the system's specifications. Further, much of the Cybertruck PC's cabin seems empty, implying that the actual guts of the PC are located in the truck bed, which probably suggests that high-performance hardware is rather unlikely given the space constraints.
While its role as a computer is mostly impractical and customers will be better served by something like the Minisforum UM690 (curr. $449 on Amazon), which offers great specs in a traditional case, the Cybertruck PC serves its intent well of being undeniably eye-catching. It will surely be a fun novelty for Tesla enthusiasts, especially those who adore the Cybertruck. Pricing and availability for this product are currently unknown, but we will be sure to post updates as they become available.
