Halo: The Master Chief Collection
Master Chief Collection Titles May Launch on PC

Earlier this month, we learned that Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be coming to PC. Since then, fans have been anxiously waiting for more information on the subject. 343 Industries stated that they are "getting Reach Ready" before sharing the release date for the entire collection. However, a recent newsletter by Splash Damage suggests that all pieces of the collection will launch on PC by the end of the year.

Spotted by ResetEra, the newsletter sent out by Halo co-developer Splash Damage contained some very exciting information. Although we know most of the information listed in the newsletter, there is one particularly eye-catching tidbit.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection
In a recent AMA, 343 stated that Halo: Reach will be the first release, followed by Halo: Combat Evolved. As work on Halo: CE is "underway almost in parallel", these will be the first two games to see the PC release.
"Ultimately we want to get these games into player's hands as soon as possible," states a 343 representative. "We're hesitant to commit to a firm time frame because the truth is they're ready when they're ready."
Keeping this information in mind, there may be more truth to the newsletter than we thought. Judging from the progress status shared in the AMA, a lot of work is needed if 343 intends to get these games ready for release before the end of the year.
Although the information comes directly from Splash Damage, it's possible that it's just a tagline marketing. After all, porting and preparing over half a dozen titles takes a lot of work. It would be amazing to see 343 adhere to this release schedule, but it does seem quite improbable. Until we receive an official announcement, I would not count on seeing all of Halo: Master Chief Collection's titles on PC before the end of 2019. Farhan Ali
