Galaxy S10 5G Tipped to Cost $1,200 in South Korea

Samsung's Galaxy S10 5G is set to debut in its home market on April 5. Ahead of the smartphone's release date in South Korea, a new report has shed light on the possible price of the smartphone. Unsurprisingly, the report suggests the Galaxy S10 5G will be less expensive than the top-end configuration of the Galaxy S10 Plus with 1TB of internal storage and 12GB RAM.
Two Versions
The ETNews report claims the base variant of the Galaxy S10 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage will cost $ 1,220 in South Korea, while the 512GB storage variant of the smartphone will set you back by $ 1,360. In comparison, the 12GB + 1TB variant of the Galaxy S10 + is priced at $ 1,599.
Customers who order the Galaxy S10 5G in South Korea before April 16 will receive Galaxy Buds, a wireless charger, and a 50% discount on replacement screen for the first year. As for color options, the Galaxy S10 5G 256GB version will be available in Royal Gold, Crown Silver, and Majestic Black colors. On the other hand, the 512GB version will only be available in Crown Silver.
Samsung is hoping that the Galaxy S10 5G will receive even greater love from consumers in South Korea, thanks to it being compatible with 5G networks. While the Galaxy S10 5G is mostly similar to the standard Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + variants in terms of hardware, it does offer a few advantages.
The Galaxy S10 5G sports a larger 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 1440 x 3040 Quad HD + resolution. On the back of the phone is a quad-camera setup instead of the triple-lens camera system on the standard Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 + models. In addition to the 12M + 12MP + 16MP sensors, the Galaxy S10 5G features a TOF sensor as well. The Galaxy S10 5G also packs a larger 4500mAh capacity battery with 25W Super Fast Charging.
