Uganda to open machine to end pornography in country
Uganda has announced that it will soon debut a machine capable of detecting pornographic content on the computers of the nation's citizens. The machine in question is capable of not only detecting images and videos but also blocking them automatically.
To implement this machine, Uganda's Minister for Ethics and Integrity, Simon Lokodo, set up the Porn Control Committee following the Anti-Porn Act that was passed in the country in 2014. The Next Web tells that the pornography will have been developed in South Korea and will have cost 88 thousand dollars, about 73 thousand euros).
It is not known how this machine will operate, but if someone is caught with pornography on your computer, you may incur a minimum sentence in the form of a fine of three thousand euros or a penalty of up to ten years in prison.
