Model 60 Pro: Sparkling design and camera configuration confirmed by teaser image
Honor is not due to unveil the Honor 60 series for another week, but it has confirmed even more details about its upcoming smartphones. For reference, Honor is expected to unveil the Honor 60, Honor 60 SE and Honor 60 Pro, all due on December 1. Honor's launch event will occur at 19:30 China Standard Time (CST), 11:30 Universal Time Coordinated (UTC).
Yesterday, the company teased that the Honor 60 series would include quad-curved displays and even an under-panel camera, both flagship features. Now, the company has released a teaser picture of the Honor 60 Pro. It is holding a pre-sale on its Hi Honor website, too.
Surprisingly, the Honor 60 Pro has fewer cameras than the Honor 50 Pro, a smartphone that the company unveiled in June. Seemingly, the Honor 60 Pro relies on a large primary sensor with what we presume is an ultra-wide-angle camera. Also, the Honor 60 Pro has a small tertiary camera, likely a 2 MP depth camera.
It is unclear what SoC will power the Honor 60 Pro. However, Honor's decision to include the Snapdragon 778G in its predecessors suggests that the Honor 60 Pro could have a mid-range chipset, maybe even the Snapdragon 870.
