Auspicious Machine: a miniature console shaped like the famous BlackBerry phone

The company Auspicious recently surprised us with an extremely interesting portable game console. It measures 137 x 84 x 12.6 millimeters and weighs just 300 grams, and its shape is reminiscent of the legendary BlackBerry smartphones. It is equipped with a miniature physical keyboard.

The miniature Auspicious Machine is made entirely of durable aluminum. In addition, there are covers made of carbon fiber. The final touch is the hardware. It is based on the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 compact desktop computer.

Auspicious Machine is based on a quad-core Broadcom BCM2711 processor with ARM Cortex-A72 processor cores. Furthermore, we find here up to eight gigabytes of LPDDR4 system memory and up to 32 gigabytes of data storage space. For playing retro games on the go, there is also a 3.5 inch or 8.9 cm diagonal screen with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Of course, convenient gaming keys and buttons are also available here.

The Auspicious Machine handheld game console will initially be sold in the Chinese market. The first customers will receive the device in June. The novelty, however, is not exactly cheap. It is necessary to deduct 225 euros calculated for this.
