Sony Float Runs attach to the wearer's head with a simple over-the-ear fit. The two headphones are connected by a flexible neckband.
In the part behind the ear, there is a plate and a battery. This compartment plays the role of a weighting device so that the device does not get out of the head during intense sports activities.
The headphones themselves are equipped with 16-inch drivers. AAC and SBC codecs are supported. A great feature of the Float Run is that they fit over the ears. Thus, the user can hear the world around him, but at the same time enjoy the music. Of course, there's no noise cancellation on the Float Run.
The manufacturer claims that the Float Run can play music for 10 hours. The headphones support fast charging - 10 minutes is enough to extend the battery life by 60 minutes.
Float Run will open in Japan on February 3. Headphones cost ¥20,000.
