Genio 700: the Taiwanese giant's latest single-chip system unveiled

Ahead of the 2023 Consumer Electronic Show, MediaTek showcased its latest MediaTek Genio 700 single-chip system, designed for smart home and retail.

The monocrystal system is produced according to the norms of the 6-nanometer technological process. It received two Cortex-a78 cores operating at a frequency of 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-a55 cores at a frequency of 2.0 GHz. The MediaTek Genio 700 produces images up to 4K resolution at 60 fps and contains an image processing processor.

Other MediaTek Genio 700 features include:

PCIe 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen1 and MIPI-CSI camera interface support;

Support for dual screens (FullHD and 4K), support for AV1, VP9, H.265 and H.264;

10-year service life over a wide temperature range;

ARM SystemReady certification, which provides standard and simple integration with the platform;

ARM PSA certified for added security.

The MediaTek Genio 700 will go on sale in the second quarter of 2023.
