In April of this year, the Vivo company announced the Vivo x Fold folding smartphone, made in the format - a book. At the end of September, the Vivo x Fold+ model debuted. And the other day there was information about the next generation of this gadget.

The author of the leak was the Chinese insider Digital Chat Station. He announced on Weibo that Vivo x Fold 2 will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.

Just like its predecessors, the novelty will be equipped with two displays - a flexible internal one and a conventional external one. The resolution of the two panels, according to the blogger, will be 2K. The fingerprint reader will be built into the external screen. In addition, the device will receive a ring-shaped rear camera with Sony IMX866 main module and optical stabilization function.

The exact date of the official presentation of Vivo x Fold 2 has not yet been disclosed. Digital Chat Station believes that the model will be presented in the first half of next year. The Vivo x Flip smartphone, which has the same design as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4, may be announced at the same time.
