SAMSUNG

O Galaxy A34 5G receberá um processador MediaTek Dimensity 1080

Galaxy A34 5G will have Dimensity 1080 hardware base

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A14, Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54 smartphones early next year. All three models have now gone through various certification steps, and the Galaxy A34 has also visited Geekbench.

As per the Geekbench 5 listing, the Galaxy A34 has the model number SM-a346n. The smartphone runs Android 13. The amount of RAM in a specific model is 6 GB. There will likely be other memory configurations.

The hardware base of the Galaxy A34 is an octa-core processor with six effective cores (2.0 GHz) and two productive cores (2.6 GHz). The chipset model number is MT6877V/TTZA. The configuration and processor number indicate that this is a relatively recent Dimensity 1080, a mid-range chipset for budget devices. On Geekbench 5, the processor scores 778 points for single-core performance and 2332 points for multithreaded workloads.

It seems that Samsung has become less reliant on the Exynos series. It is increasingly common to see processors from other manufacturers in the company's smartphones, which indicates the growing technological gap between Exynos and Dimensity and Snapdragon.
