VertiCam PTZ: the brand's first camera for vertical content creation and live streaming on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat

YoloLiv has launched the industry's first PTZ camera for vertical content creation and live streaming on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Snapchat.

YoloLiv VertiCam Key Features:

Allows you to record vertical video in Full HD 1080 resolution up to 60p

12x optical zoom available (and 16x digital)

Pan/Tilt/Zoom Functions

10-bit 4:2:2 mode available

The VertiCam PTZ camera can switch between various preset positions. The user can store up to 255 specific camera pan/tilt/zoom positions.

The VertiCam also has a remote control feature that allows the camera to pan over a wide range of ±170° horizontally and 30° to 90° vertically. Remote camera control via RS232 port is also available.

The manufacturer also reports that the TOF sensor autofocus provides very fast and accurate focusing.

VertiCam allows users to take pictures with a wide viewing angle (72.5°) thanks to its wide-angle lens and 12x optical zoom.

VertiCam has also received a "pro color mode" that includes signal noise reduction, backlight compensation and high quality images even in low light. The sensor on the PTZ is a 1/2.8-inch CMOS sensor with 2.07 effective megapixels. VertiCam runs on Windows, Mac and Linux platforms.

YoloLiv VertiCam retails for $629. The new camera is expected to be available in late October.

Previously, YoloLiv introduced YoloLiv Instream, a studio monitor for vertical video streaming. Functions are available for adding graphics, a toolkit for creating content with a frame aspect ratio for viewing on smartphones.

Instream Studio has 2 HDMI inputs and 1 USB input and supports Wi-Fi, 4G LTE and Ethernet connections. Like YoloBox, Instream is controlled using a touchscreen. YoloLiv Instream uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and the LCD touchscreen has 600 nits of brightness.
