APPLE

iPhone 5c declared obsolete

The iPhone 5c has been declared obsolete. As of November 1, 2022, smartphone service will be suspended.

This is reported by the MacRumors profile feature. In October 2020, Apple named the iPhone 5c vintage. This means device service has become limited and is dependent on supplier parts availability. From November 1st, the Cupertino team will mark the legendary device as obsolete. As per the rules, the products included in this list will not be repaired and will not be supported by service centers. Apple also announced that the third generation iPad mini with Wi-Fi and TD-LTE will be obsolete on the same day.

The iconic iPhone 5c was released simultaneously with the iPhone 5s in September 2013. The device was the first to be produced in a variety of colors including blue, green, pink, yellow, white and had an economical plastic housing.

Earlier we said that many details about the iPhone 15 lineup have been confirmed by a reputable analyst.
