Note 12 series will launch in October

Last night, Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi China, announced on his Twitter page that the new Redmi Note series smartphones will arrive very soon. A well-known member of Digital Chat Station claims that the Redmi Note 12 series will be released in October.

This week, the Redmi Note 12 series passed 3C certification. The standard version supports 67W wired fast charging, while the Pro version supports 120W wired fast charging.

There is also talk of a 210W charging version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro+. The 120W charger can fully charge a smartphone in 20 minutes, while the upcoming 210W fast charger will get the job done in 10-15 minutes.

According to available information, Redmi Note 12 series can be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1080 single-chip system made by TSMC. It scores between 500,000 and 600,000 on AnTuTu, which isn't too different from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus' score of around 550,000.

In terms of price, the Redmi Note 12 should cost between $140 and $210, while the Redmi Note 12 Pro should cost between $210 and $280.

Redmi Note 12 smartphones, which are called small flagships on the web, should be released before the 11.11 sale.

Previously, Digital Chat Station was the first to accurately announce the specs and release dates of the Redmi K50 and Xiaomi 12.
