HMD Global, together with the cheap Nokia T21 tablet, presented the Nokia C31 smartphone. You really can't call it cheap - the price is $240 (a tablet is $100 cheaper).
The Nokia C31 has a large 6.75-inch IPS display, but the resolution is low — HD+. The device dimensions are 169.2 x 78 x 8.6 mm, weight - 200 grams.
The hardware platform is based on the older 28nm Unisoc 9863A1 SoC with eight 1.6GHz Arm Cortex-A55 cores and a PowerVR GE8322 GPU. A not very powerful platform, however, is enough to release a full Android 12 (the creators promise to release security updates within two years, but not a word on possible Android updates). There are three memory options: 3/32, 4/64 and 4/128 GB. There is a microSD card slot and it supports storage media up to 256GB.
The camera is represented by three modules - with sensors with a resolution of 13 megapixels, 2 megapixels (for macro photography) and 2 megapixels (for scene depth analysis). The front camera is 5 megapixels located in the teardrop-shaped cutout. It supports face unlock. The second method of biometric identification is a rear-panel fingerprint scanner.
Battery capacity was 5050mAh, 10W charging via microUSB port is supported. There is dust and water protection according to IP52 grade and a standard headphone jack. The cost of the Nokia C31 in the basic version (3/32 GB) is US$240.
