Samsung has finally released the One UI 5.0 beta, albeit with a delay of several weeks.
The S90xBXXU2ZHV4 update became available for the Galaxy S22 line. As is often the case, initially in Germany, but in the coming days we should expect the update to roll out to other markets.
One UI 5.0 is based on Android 13, so Samsung's current flagships have also received a beta version of Google's new operating system.
Samsung has yet to reveal all the innovations of the new shell, but there have previously been reports that there will be little new in One UI 5.0 - mainly optimization, UI changes and other small improvements. The new shell should at least be smoother and faster than the current one, which is good enough, as One UI has recently stopped keeping up with Chinese companies' shells in these matters.
The stable release of One UI 5.0 and Android 13 is expected in October.
