Price of the basic version of the iPhone 14 will not increase over the previous model

According to the South Korean web publication Naver, the price of the basic version of the iPhone 14 will not increase compared to the previous model, although the components have gone up in price and there are supply problems. That is, the manufacturer “frozen” the prices of the iPhone 14.

The source claims that the upcoming iPhone 14 with 128GB flash storage will be offered for $799. That's how much the iPhone 13 costs in this configuration. Apple will refuse to release a compact model with the mini index. And the larger version of the iPhone 14 Max will start at $899.

Those who opted for the Pro versions will have to pay additional costs. Presumably, the cost of the older iPhone 14 will increase by $100. Specifically, the starting price of the iPhone 14 Pro will be $1,099. The iPhone 14 Pro Max model in the minimum configuration will cost $1,199. Probably, the increase is due to the use of the new A16 Bionic processor in these versions, the improvement of the display and the rear camera. In newer versions, these significant changes are not expected.
