Brand announced the Prestige 16 line laptops

MSI announced the Prestige 16 A12UD and Prestige 16 Evo A12M laptops with Windows 11 operating system. New items are built on the Intel Alder Lake hardware platform.

The first of these models is equipped with a 16-inch QHD+ display (2560 × 1600 pixels) with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space. The display is made using Mini-LED technology, which involves the use of an array of microscopic LEDs. Thanks to this, the local dimming function can be implemented. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti accelerator is responsible for graphics processing.

The second laptop received a 16-inch FHD+ IPS display (1920 × 1200 pixels) with a 165 Hz refresh rate and 100% coverage of the sRGB color space. This model uses integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Both computers are equipped with a Core i7-1280P processor with 14 cores, including six for performance and eight for energy efficiency. The maximum clock frequency is 4.8 GHz. The amount of RAM reaches 32 GB. An NVMe M.2 SSD is used.

Other equipment includes Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675 and Bluetooth 5.2 adapters, fingerprint scanner, backlit keyboard, 2W stereo speakers, Thunderbolt 4 / DP / USB Type-C, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A and HDMI interfaces. The price is not specified.
