Today, the South Korean tech giant Samsung introduced its new smartphone to the domestic market. This is a mid-range device called the Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2.
The gadget is equipped with a 6.6-inch screen made with IPS technology. The panel has a resolution of 2408 x 1080 pixels and supports a refresh rate of 120Hz.
In the center of the top area of the display is a teardrop notch dedicated to the 8MP selfie camera. On the rear panel there is a quad camera, which includes a 50 MP main sensor, an 8 MP ultra wide angle and a 2 MP macro module.
The device, built on the Snapdragon 750G platform, carries 4GB of RAM and a 128GB flash drive. The operating system is Android 12 with Samsung One UI 4.1 GUI.
The Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 is powered by a powerful 5000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. A fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button. There's also a headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS modules.
In South Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Buddy 2 model is offered for US$ 300. There is still no information on when the model will be launched in the global market.
