Nintendo Switch Online app has been updated

The Nintendo Switch Online application, available for iOS and Android, has been updated to version 2.2.0. According to your new changelog, it is now easier to add friends to your Nintendo Account using mobile devices.

Until now, to add a friend, you would have to use your Nintendo Switch to do so, and everything is now easier with the new Nintendo Switch Online app. Now you can simply copy the friend code and apply it in the app to add him as a friend. In addition, from now on you can also enter new friend codes directly in the application and send requests.

Your friend code can now also be passed in the form of a URL, which can be simply clicked to add you as a friend... A QR code is also available.

With this new version, the application now requires iOS 14.0, or higher, on the iPhone. Those who have a previous version will not see their application being updated, and as such, will not have access to these new features.

Another novelty with version 2.2.0 of the Nintendo Switch Online application is that it finally gets dark mode.

As always, the application is available for installation, or update, on the Play Store for Android smartphones and the App Store for those who have an iPhone.
