How does Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE take pictures? It will surprise vloggers and fans of macro photos

But first, look at the camera specifications of the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. The main word has a 64Mpx 26mm camera with f / 1.8 aperture and phase focus. In tandem, he also plays an 8Mpx wide-angle lens with 119-degree shot and 5Mpx macro glass. As you can see - and as you will see - no sensor is so-called in number, and they all have a clear task.

Photos day and night...The smartphone takes 16Mpx images with the main camera by default, and we will also evaluate them primarily. However, in case of increased interest, you can switch to full resolution, but expect a 2.5x to 3.5x increase in memory requirements for individual images.

Xiaomi's bet on an effective 64Mpx photo chip has paid off, as the novelty is delivering excellent results for its price category (and in fact for slightly higher price categories). The main sensor makes almost no compromises, it shoots beautifully sharply and with a nice color balance during the day and even at night, while it handles well with the coming twilight.

The wide-angle camera has nothing to be ashamed of...The work of a wide-angle lens can be described similarly well. He also gives good results at his weaker resolution (only 8 Mpx) and he also avoided the problem, when the photo is sharp in the middle, but it is already growing along the edges. The blending of textures, noise and so-called pixelization only appears in poorer interior lighting - this is clearly evident in images from the metro or tram.

Macro like a pro...But if there's one thing we've been really excited about and enjoyed testing the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G, it's macro photography. The smartphone has a special sensor for this area of interest and it boasts a resolution of 5 Mpx. And that's enough for you to take amazing photos from 6 to 4 centimeters long. It is also necessary to praise the good stabilization, which is provided only by electronics, not optics.

Portrait and selfie photos...The main element of popular portraits is the so-called bokeh effect, ie the focused face of the person in the foreground and the blurred background. Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE manages this to a large extent with the help of artificial intelligence and although the result is not always perfect, it is many times better than competitors in the segment up to 15 thousand crowns.

You can also use this mode for selfie photos, ergo shots with a front camera. However, this cannot be fully recommended. The front camera does not have such quality and it does not handle cutting the foreground from the background so well. However, the "ordinary" images with the front camera are without problems sharp and in full resolution of 20 Mpx.
