Martha is Dead will be released later than planned

Wired Productions, along with development studios LKA and Caracal Games, announced the exact release date for their psychological thriller Martha is Dead at the 2021 Golden Joystick Awards.

Recall that Martha is Dead was introduced in October 2019 and, until recently, it was expected to be released during the current year. The game's creators didn't meet the deadlines.

As has been known, Martha is Dead will go on sale on February 24, 2022 for PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. Reasons for the transfer have not been disclosed.

The events of Martha is Dead take place in Tuscany in 1944, torn apart by World War II. Martha's wife's body was found on the lake shore – her twin sister Julia must now deal with this loss.

Martha is Dead promises "authentic Italian narration" (standard voice acting), "deep and dark narrative in multiple layers", "detailed re-creation of the Italian countryside" and an atmospheric soundtrack.
