Model Nova 8 SE has OLED display and 66W fast charging

Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei has expanded its range of mid-range smartphones with the Nova 8 SE 4G model, which runs the proprietary HarmonyOS 2 operating system.

The novelty features a 6.5-inch OLED display in Full HD + format with a resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. A fingerprint reader is integrated directly into the screen area. At the top of the dashboard, there's a water-drop shaped notch for a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

At the rear is installed a quad camera, the elements of which are arranged in the form of a 2 × 2 matrix. It is a 64 megapixel main unit with a maximum aperture of f / 1.9, an 8 megapixel module with wide optical angle, a sensor 2-megapixel scene depth and a 2-megapixel sensor for macro photography.

An eight-core Kirin 710A processor is used, working in conjunction with 8GB of RAM. The flash drive is designed to store 128GB of information.

The equipment includes 802.11ac and Bluetooth 5.1 Wi-Fi adapters, a Type-C USB port. The 3800mAh battery supports 66W fast charging.

The Nova 8 SE 4G will be available for around $330 in white, black, silver and blue.
