PlayStation 5 will be missing in stores due to high demand for the console
In preparation for increased demand for the new PlayStation 5, Sony has increased the volume of orders for its production. But even so, some retailers hope that, at the beginning of sales, there is still not enough for everyone who wants consoles. For example, PlayStation Direct decided to limit the implementation of the decoder according to the "in one hand - a decoder" scheme.
The data on this was discovered by one of the users of the Reddit forum. Studying the program code for the PlayStation Direct online store, he noticed in the Java script a message that appears before the buyer if he decides to buy more than one prefix at a time:
"You can buy only one version of the PlayStation 5 game console - digital or with a unit. You have already added a prefix to the basket," says the message.
Another interesting finding of the user was the discovery in the program's information code that some PlayStation 4 accessories will be compatible with the new PlayStation 5. The special “PS5 compatible” icon indicates this. This support seems to get the gamepad from the current version of the console.

Expecting high excitement in the coronavirus pandemic scenario, which causes many to stay at home, Sony increased orders for the PlayStation 5 from 5-6 million to an initial 10 million units, respectively increasing the order to produce controllers for the console. At the same time, it is not yet clear whether the company will be able to handle logistics. The prefix is assembled in China and then transported around the world. And there are still problems with that.
The price of the PlayStation 5 has not yet been announced. However, the presence of a message about the decoder sales restriction in the store code can indirectly speak in favor of the fact that it does not take long to wait for this information.
