Brand introduces new encrypted flash drives
Kingston Digital, a division of Kingston Technology, has introduced new encrypted flash drives: the solutions announced are capable of storing 128 GB of information.
In particular, the DataTraveler Locker + G3 (DTLPG3) unit debuted. It protects personal data with hardware encryption and a password, providing a double layer of protection. Cloud backup allowed: backup of device data to Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, Amazon Cloud Drive, Dropbox or Box.
In turn, the Kingston DataTraveler Vault Privacy 3.0 (DTVP 3.0) flash drive provides affordable, commercial-grade protection with 256-bit AES hardware encryption in XTS mode. A read-only mode is provided to avoid the potential risk of malware creation. Additional features include serial number assignment, limiting the number of password attempts, minimum password lengths and individual product IDs for integration with standard terminal management software (whitelist).

Finally, the 128 GB DataTraveler 4000G2 (DT4000G2DM) unit is launched. It is FIPS 140-2 Level 3 certified and has 256-bit AES-XTS encryption. The IT administrator can manage the device remotely to ensure compliance with security requirements and higher levels of support. Additional features are similar to the DTVP 3.0 model.
All devices have a five-year warranty and free technical support.
