5G: Altice performs first national television broadcast with RTP

In a statement, Altice Portugal said that in the demonstration that took place at the Altice Arena was allowed to connect a 5G station, installed in that space during the event, to Monsanto to make a live broadcast in RTP via 5G.
"The demonstration consisted of activating a 5G pre-commercial ecosystem from the customer terminal to service platforms. The terminal equipment (router) was developed to support the new technology, which consists of a new radio network and a new network 5G control, as well as the use of a more complex and intelligent set of active antennas.
