'Age of Samurai': série da Netflix vai tentar suceder a 'Game of Thrones''Age of Samurai': Netflix series will try to succeed 'Game of Thrones'

Netflix will launch a series that will try to fill the void left by the end of 'Game of Thrones'. According to the Deadline, 'Age of Samurai: Battle for Japan' is a series about the disputed realms in feudal Japan, so you can see why it might happen to the popular series based on the books of George R. R. Martin.
The series will pay homage to the noir graphic novels and Japanese art. 'Age of Samurai' will focus on the story of Date Masamune, a samurai who became known as the 'Dragon of an Eye'.
Masamune fought alongside the three founders of Japan, who joined the country 400 years ago. When he was a child he took out his own eye after having contracted smallpox, hence the name by which he became known. The Deadline also reveals that Masamune's helmet will have served as inspiration for Darth Vader's.
The series will be produced by Simon George and is already being filmed in Japan, the United States and Canada. It should debut later this year. Fábio Nunes, Portugal
