O ano ‘quente’ do TinderThe 'hot' year of Tinder

Match Group, the company responsible for some of the most popular dating apps like Tinder and OKCupid, seems to have had a dream year. As the company's financial results for the last quarter of 2018 show, only Tinder had revenues of $ 805 million (US $ 710 million) during 2018.
Revenue is the result of increased subscriptions to the service, which appears to be growing substantially in popularity, bearing in mind that in 2017 Tinder had 'only' about $ 400 million ($ 352 million) in revenue.
"Tinder's revenue growth is due to Tinder Gold, which gives members certain limited features like more Super Likes per day, the ability to see other users around the world and information about who likes them, "said the Associated Press.
The company also notes that the success of the dating app was due to Tinder U, a variant of the app aimed at college students between 18 and 22 years. Tinder's revenue may increase further in 2019 as the app is expected to launch in Japan, India and South Korea as well. Miguel Dias
