Company promises to correct FaceTime error ... next week

He had to speak this week about a security bug in Group FaceTime, which allowed users to listen to the recipient even without receiving the call. The good news is that the bug will be fixed by way of an update. The bad news? It will only be released next week.
"We have already fixed the Group FaceTime security bug on Apple servers and will launch a software update to re-enable the functionality for next week's users. We apologize to our customers who have been affected and to all those who have been concerned about this security issue. We appreciate the patience of everyone as we complete this process, "said Apple's TechCrunch communiqué.
The FaceTime security bug, already serious enough, made it clear that it was reported to Apple, which ignored it for a week until it blocked FaceTime. "We are committed to improving the process of receiving and escalating these complaints so that we can forward them to the right people as quickly as possible.
