Google+ será fechado por fases, mas comece já a fazer o backup de fotos e vídeos
Google+ will be phased out, but start backing up photos and videos already

Google initially had plans to shut down its Google+ social network in August, but after a security breach that exposed the personal information of more than 50 million users, the technology decided to anticipate the end of its operations in April. The company has now revealed the "doomsday" day, April 2, but the process will be done in stages, as explained in its official blog.
Google warns that on April 2, all accounts, including their content, such as photos and videos, will be deleted. To date, users interested in preserving their multimedia content must do so through their download. However, materials that have been backed up in Google Photos will not be erased.
The first phase for the end of service begins on February 4, when users will no longer be able to create new profiles on Google+, such as pages, communities or events. On that day it will also no longer be possible to post comments on websites and blogs through the account. During February, the authentication buttons for websites and applications related to Google+ will no longer work and will simply be replaced by Google's account.
On March 7, functionality for leaving comments through the Google+ account will be removed from all other websites. Finally, on April 2, all comments made by the account will be removed from the websites, and all accounts and content will be "exterminated".
