Brand launches tennis that bind themselves through an app
Nike announced the launch of basketball shoes that bind themselves through their own application. The tennis shoes are called Nike Adapt BB and are designed to help basketball players keep their tennis comfortable throughout a game.
"During a normal basketball game the foot of the athlete changes and the ability to change quickly by unscrewing the tennis shoes to increase blood circulation and then tightening again to think about performance is a key element that we believe will improve the athlete's experience," he said. Nike's creative director of innovation, Eric Avar, in a brand blog post.
The success of the Nike Adapt BB lies in the almost symbiotic relationship between the tennis and the application, which includes various types of settings to improve player performance. Nike promises that it will update the application in the future and integrate more features and, likewise, adapt the tennis to other types of sport.
