773 million emails revealed. This is the biggest data theft in history

More than 773 million emails and 21 million passwords may have been shared in what is already considered the biggest online data theft in history.
The set of information revealed was named Collection # 1 and was discovered in December by Troy Hunt, an online security researcher, who on his blog reveals that a folder with 12,000 documents was shared in MEGA, an online sharing service .
The folder, with about 87 GB of information, comes from different sources of the Internet, including MySpace and Linkedin.
Despite the size of the attack, the data does not appear to include more sensitive information such as credit card data or Social Security numbers, as the US magazine Wired reports.
How do I know if your email was hacked?
According to PplWare, a website has already been created where you can confirm that your email is in the list of affected accounts. To do this simply access Have I been Pwned(https://haveibeenpwned.com/), enter your email, and wait for the response. If your email is among those affected, we advise you to change your password immediately. N. M.
