Company launches innovative compact turbine to supply 10,000 homes

General Electric has unveiled a new compact turbine that may be able to provide electric power to 10,000 homes using CO2. This innovative turbine is truly remarkable, and has potential can solve the world's major energy challenges.
There are many details needed to increase energy efficiency around the world. There are many investments currently being made to encourage the use of renewable energies, such as biomass, wind, solar, tidal, thermal and geothermal energy, among others that seek in the long term to replace the energies coming from fossil fuels .
These investments are very important, but not sufficient to improve energy performance, as several other actions contribute to this.
Energy production equipment should always be upgraded to increase its performance, reducing energy losses and making it necessary for mankind not to seek so many new sources of energy.
A company that plays a key role in the performance of energy production equipment is the American giant GE (General Electric) that works in production and distribution of energy.
This company has just inaugurated a new superpowerful turbine capable of generating more energy with a lower energy source, that is, it increases the energy potential and reduces the loss of energy in the capture processes.

GE launches high-efficiency electric turbine
GE has just released its new power generation turbine. The design of the turbine resembles an airplane engine, but it has nothing to do with it. This turbine was developed to generate energy for large cities.
The new Harriet 9HA has cost over a billion dollars in development, and uses the latest materials such as crystal blades for propellers and even ceramic-based compounds to withstand extreme temperatures, as pottery has high temperature potential.

The efficiency of this turbine is 61%, that is, much of the energy generated actually reaches the homes.
According to product marketing manager Mike Gradoia, the turbine is gas and generates twice the energy of previous turbines while generating less pollutants.
