CEO do Liverpool receia que ‘Fortnite’ se torne mais popular que futebol
Liverpool CEO worries that 'Fortnite' will become more popular than football

Even with the current good performance of Liverpool in the Premier League it can not be said that the CEO of the British club, Peter Moore, is properly free of worries. Not with the other clubs, but with the growing popularity of 'Fortnite'.
In an interview with Arabian Business (via SportsPro), Moore pointed out that most young people today prefer to play or watch online games of 'Fortnite' than a complete football game. "90 minutes is too long for a 'millennial' man to sit on the couch. When I look at the numbers of 'millenials' men's watchers, I get worried as CEO of a football club that needs a new generation of fans, "Moore said.
Prior to leading the English club, Moore was responsible for EA Sports - the division of Electronic Arts publisher dedicated to the production of sports games such as 'FIFA' and 'Madden' - so he is aware of the growing popularity and influence of video games in the younger audience .
"We are an industry that needs to master technology to ensure that we do not lose a whole generation of young people who grow up and have no love for football. We have to create content from 60 to 90 seconds to keep them interested, "Moore said.
It is under Moore's leadership that Liverpool FC began working with IBM to improve the club's website and application around more and better content specifically directed to each of the football team's fans. "It's something I learned in video games. I can have everything about the players, but if you only care about Mohamed Slah and I do not know it, my reach is wasted, "said the CEO.
