Apple proibida de vender iPhones na China, afirma QualcommThe Chinese retaliation

Chip maker Qualcomm says a court in China has upheld two injunctions that prohibit Apple from selling certain models of the iPhone in the territory, according to The Independent.
The models in question are the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus, the iPhone 7, the iPhone 7 Plus, the iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X. Allegedly, these smartphones include technology patented by Qualcomm, namely software that allows users to adjust photos.
"Apple continues to benefit from our intellectual property while refusing to give us any compensation. These court orders are a confirmation of the strength of Qualcomm's vast portfolio, "it said in a statement from Qualcomm.
For one thing, Apple claims that Qualcomm's measure is "another desperate action by a company whose illegal practices continue to be investigated by regulators around the world." "All iPhone models are still available to our customers in China," an Apple representative told CNet, saying it will continue to "pursue legal options through the courts." Miguel Dias
