Novo browser da Microsoft vai suportar extensões do Chrome
Redmond's new browser to support Chrome extensions

After announcing the new browser based on Chromium, the same base for Chrome, Microsoft has been challenged by its rival Mozilla, aimed at "handing" virtually the monopoly of Internet browsing to Google. The truth is that Windows 10 will even have its version of Chromium natively and according to some updates on Reddit, the new Edge will be compatible with the extensions of Chrome. The answer was given by the Edge project manager to a user asking if extensions producers would have to start over from scratch.
Compatibility with thousands of Chrome extensions is an interesting letter from Microsoft to lure users in as it integrates password managers and other apps available to the browser.
"We hope to start supporting the PWA (Progressive Web App) to be installed directly from the browser, a bit like Chrome, in addition to the current form of the Store," says the project manager. These applications were made to appear native, framed in the contents of the browser. However, technical support for the previous Edge will remain, so old apps based on your engine will not crash.
It was also mentioned that the project is still in the early stages of production, but when it is released, the new browser version will be compatible with all Microsoft devices, including the Xbox One and eventually the HoloLens augmented reality system, in response to more a question from a Reddit user.
