New brand model will also have "hole" on the screen for the front camera

"Beams" and "bezels" seem increasingly "outdated" and one of the trends of upcoming smartphone models will be the "hole" screens with built-in front cameras to ensure a larger image area, the so-called infinite screen. After Samsung and Huawei have revealed their proposals, it is Honor's turn to introduce the same system in View 20.
The smartphone was introduced this weekend and Engadget had the opportunity to try it, noting that the camera hole is 4.5 mm in diameter (smaller than the 6 mm competing models) and that it is located in the upper corner left. The publication explains that the lens is encrusted like a "diamond" underneath the screen, in a system Honor points out that "the hole is not a traditional hole."
Already in the characteristics of the rear camera, the View 20 will have a sensor of 48 MP and will be fed by the system IMX586 of Sony. The equipment will also benefit from the new processor of its "familiar" Mate 20 Pro, the Kirin 980, developed by Huawei, which together with Sony's powerful sensor will allow, according to the manufacturer, to capture high quality images in less enlightened environments.
It has also been described that Honor View 20 will have a system called Link Turbo, a technology powered by artificial intelligence that allows to download using simultaneously Wi-Fi and 4G networks to achieve higher speeds. In addition, the device automatically switches a Wi-Fi connection to 4G if you notice that the local network has a weaker signal.
Honor View 20 will be released in China on December 26, arriving in Europe in January of next year. Sapo
