One of the innovations that the Ingolstadt brand will present at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show is the new generation of the Audi A6, which we can now know in detail thanks to the first images and official information released by the manufacturer.In its eighth generation, the new Audi A6 can retain its main qualities, adding countless details of great technology that can make a difference from the previous model. For the manufacture of its body of 4.94 meters of length was used the steel, but also the aluminum in certain panels like the bonnet, the cover of the trunk and the doors.The interior has also received many improvements, but always betting on comfort. The passenger compartment is larger and thanks to its wider dimensions it improves the space available to the occupants, especially in the rear seats.






The new Audi A6 2019 uses the configurable digital instrumentation Audi Virtual Cockpit with 12.3-inch screen and also has a 10-inch screen for the infotainment system.
Among the most outstanding elements of its equipment are the panoramic glass ceiling, leather seats, heated, ventilated and with massage function, Head-Up Display system, air quality package that includes ionizer and fragrances, HD Matrix headlamps LED, plus various driving aids such as adaptive cruise control, city-wide braking, track maintenance, parking assistance, etc.



Audi has completely electrified the engine line of this eighth-generation A6, thanks to a mild-hybrid technology based on a 48-volt electric system for V6 engines and 12-volt four-cylinder engines. This system has an electric motor associated with a lithium ion battery.In the diesel line the offer contemplates three alternatives TDI, a 2.0 with 204 hp and a 3.0 V6 in versions of 231 and 286 hp of power. In the gasoline line the initial offer contemplates only a TFSI V6 of 3.0 liters that develops 340 cv of power. The most powerful diesel engines combine with an eight-speed tiptronic automatic transmission, while the smaller TFSI V6 and TDI will be associated with a seven-speed S-Tronic automatic transmission.
