Hezbollah lança videojogo sobre a guerra na Síria
TERRORIST GROUP HEZBOLLAH LAUNCHES VIDEO GAME ON WAR IN SYRIA
The Shi'ite extremist Shi'ite movement organized the video game presentation ceremony in the southern suburbs of Beirut, the capital of the country."The idea came from real events on the ground, both in Syria and on the border with my country," one of the game's creators, Hassan Allam, told France Presse. The game - which is for people over 12 - reflects "Hezbollah's experience in Syria," Allam said. The first mission begins with the arrival of the main character, Ahmed, to the mosque of Sayeda Zeinab, a Shiite shrine in the suburbs of Damascus when it is being bombed by rebels.Ahmed's goal is to fight the Sunnis until Sayeda Zeinab is saved.Throughout the various stages the designers have chosen to focus in particular on the battles against the Islamic state (JI) 'jihadist' group. The last mission of the "Sacred Defense" is the battle of Ras Baalbeck, where Hezbollah and the Lebanese army conducted two offensives and defeated the EI in the Lebanese mountains near the border with Syria.Hezbollah's allied ally and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, is considered by Washington as a terrorist group. It was thanks to their help (but also to Russian air support) that the Syrian regime was able to recover much of its territory occupied by the rebels and the EI.The Shi'ite group has been officially militarily involved in Syria since 2013.
This war, which began in 2011, has already caused more than 340,000 deaths and millions of displaced persons and refugees.
