Space garbage is an increasing problem and there is no solution

An investigation by the Wall Street Journal reveals that there is more and more space debris in orbit, indicating that the situation may become more problematic as satellites become smaller and cheaper.
The problem is not left here and is even more serious because there is no solution for the coming times. In fact, Japan launched a mission to clear Earth orbit earlier this year but eventually failed, with the European Space Agency pledging to undertake a similar mission in 2024.
It can not be said that the fact that this technology is more accessible is a problem in itself, but it is an issue because most researchers opt for cheaper satellites that can not be maneuvered. Thus, these satellites end up colliding with others in orbit and cause even more debris, further aggravating a problem that has no solution.
