XIAOMI

imagem Xiaomi 13Xiaomi 14 will have a larger sensor in the main camera, version with 1TB of storage

Details are coming in for the upcoming Xiaomi 14 - the phone will retain its overall look but it's bringing a number of updates. Digital Chat Station leaker previously posted that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Apparently, this generation will also have up to 1TB of storage (the 13 came up with 512GB). Based on the previous post, the vanilla Xiaomi 14 will have a 4,860mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging (up from 4,500mAh 67/50W).

The phone's schematics show a familiar design with a square camera island tucked into the top left corner. This time, however, it will be split between four sensors, not three.

Esquema vazado do Xiaomi 14According to the source, the main camera will gain an even larger sensor – 50MP 1/1.28”, up from 50MP 1/1.49”. It will be accompanied by a "medium telephoto" camera, presumably with a standard lens like its predecessor (however, it may offer greater optical magnification than the 3.2x model 13). There's no hint as to what the fourth sensor might be (the third is the ultra-wide camera, of course).

Xiaomi traditionally launches its flagship series right at the end of the year, in part to coincide with the first availability of the upcoming Snapdragon 8 chip, so we're still months away from the Xiaomi 14 and family (there will be a Pro model, the Ultra may or may not arrive any more afternoon).
