SAMSUNG

Android 14 will be final for these five Samsung devices

Samsung is currently one of the good examples long-term support. Not so long ago, the Korean company provided two major updates to the Android system, just like its competitors. It didn’t matter if it was a flagship phone or a mid-range phone. In 2020, the company announced that all Galaxy flagships launched in 2019 and beyond will receive three Android updates, as well as its most popular Galaxy A smartphones. Four such mobile phones and one tablet will hit the “edge” this year in the case of Android 14.

Any Galaxy device eligible for the later guaranteed four generations of Android updates, it hasn’t been on the market long enough to not hit that limit this year. The list of devices that will be the last to complete three-year support includes the following four mobile phones and one tablet:

Galaxy A52

Galaxy A52s

Galaxy A52 5G

Galaxy A72

Galaxy Tab S7 FE

The list refers to devices that launched with Android 11 and had eligible for three major Android updates, so version 14 will be their final stop. The list doesn’t include devices that won’t upgrade to Android 14 because they launched with Android 12 and don’t qualify for the three-year or four-year policy.
