Comapny has released the Hackboard 2 single-board computer
The smartphone-sized novelty is equipped with an Intel processor and supports the Windows operating system, which is not so common in the segment of single-board computers – most of them rely on Arm-chips and Linux family OS. Moreover, Hackboard 2 is one of the available solutions in its class.
The Hackboard 2 is based on a dual-core Intel Celeron N4020 clocked at up to 2.8 GHz. The Hackboard 2 can offer 4GB or 8GB of DDR4 RAM, as well as 64GB to 512GB flash storage. It also supports the installation of up to two SSDs with a total capacity of up to 4 TB via two M.2 connectors.
The Hackboard 2 is equipped with three USB 3.0 connectors, one USB Type-C, one HDMI 2.1, one 40-pin GPIO, one 30-pin eDP, 6-pin touch screen connector, 5-pin USB for camera connection, 10 -pin input power connector 3.7 V. The novelty also received an Intel AC9560 controller with support for Wi-Fi with a transfer rate of up to 1.73 Gb / s in dual channel mode and Bluetooth 5.1.
The dimensions and weight of the single board computer Hackboard 2 are 9.5 × 16 × 13 cm and 536 grams. Debian Linux is offered as the standard operating system for it. For $25, the manufacturer is ready to install Windows 11 Pro on it.
The Hackboard 2 starts at $174.95 (4GB RAM, 64GB SSD, Debian Linux). In a configuration with Windows 11 Pro, 8 GB of RAM and a 512 SSD, the novelty is priced at $ 299.95.
