LG

New LG Gram Style line will have OLED panel

At this year's CES, LG introduced the next generation of LG Gram ultrabooks. They will receive, for example, an OLED display with a high refresh rate. Two models are for sale and we know their prices.

The LG Gram Style will be available in two sizes. For both, customers can choose between 16GB and 32GB of RAM. The smaller 14″ model with the designation 14Z90RS will offer an OLED display with a resolution of 2880 × 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The just under 1-pound machine has a 72 Wh battery that should keep the machine running for 12.5 hours during video playback.

Inside we find 16 or 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM at a frequency of 6000 MHz, an NVMe PCIe Gen 4.0 SSD with a capacity of 512 GB and an Intel Core i7 1360P processor with 4 powerful cores and 8 economical ones.

The notebook has two Thunderbolt 4 ports, one USB-A and one headphone jack. Pricing starts at $1,499, equivalent to 33,000 kronor before tax.

The larger 16-inch model includes the same processor and connector hardware. Inside, however, you'll find a 1TB SSD and a slightly larger 80Wh battery. The screen has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 3200 × 2000 pixels. The weight jumped to 1.18 kg. The price starts at 1799 dollars, in direct conversion it is around 40 thousand crowns.

This year, LG opted for a new look using glass. The touchpad itself offers a tactile response and smooth backlighting.
