The main internet browsers, such as Chrome, Edge and Safari, make it possible to clear the cache of a specific website. This action serves to correct any loading and formatting problems on a page.

By clearing the cache for a single site, you keep the browsing settings for other web pages saved. Here's how to clear a specific website's cache on each of the major browsers across your computer.

Google Chrome:

-Click on the "Menu" button in the upper right corner and then on "Settings";

-Access "Privacy and Security";

-In the "Cookies and site data" tab, click on "Manage data";

-Select the website you want to clear cache and click "Remove Selected".

Safari:

-Launch Safari on the computer;

-In the top bar, click on "Safari" and then on "Settings";

-Access the "Privacy" option;

-Click "Manage Site Data";

Opera:

-Open Opera on your computer;

-On the top bar, click on "Opera" and then on "Settings";

Select the "Privacy and security" option;

-Click on "Cookies and other site data";

-Go to "View all site data and permissions";

-Search for the site to have the cache cleared and click the trash button next to it.

Force refresh a page's cache...If you don't need to clear a website's cache, but just refresh to a newer version of the page, you can force refresh using the following shortcut keys while browsing:

CTRL + F5 for Windows and Linux browsers;

Shift + click the "Refresh" button in Safari;

Command + Shift + R in Chrome and Firefox for macOS.

This option does not clear the cache for the entire site, it just refreshes the cache for the page or subdomain you are browsing.
