ASUS and Noctua are partners again – check out the massive ASUS RTX 4080 Noctua OC Edition

Such a card is the dream of every quiet lover. Sure, we can drown our graphics under water, but if you don’t want to touch the PC frog, this card is ideal.

Of course, this isn’t the first time ASUS and Noctua have collaborated. We have already seen the Noctua editions of the RTX 3070 and 3080 cards. Their advantage was, of course, the excellent and quiet cooler, which Noctua is a specialist in. Quite logically, therefore, we now see the same care RTX 4080 with a robust cooler and two large NF-A12x25 PWM fans. As usual, they stay calm up to a certain load and temperature, and the card is thus inaudible. There is a dual BIOS and a switch between them. You can choose either quiet or powerful mode, but I’d bet your neck that the cooler won’t be heard in either mode. According to ASUS, the noise level is a maximum of 27 dB under full load.

Otherwise, we have a standard 16-pin power connector and the card boosts up to 2625 MHz in OC mode. If we look at the video above, it only shows how big the cooler really is, but the card also takes up more than four slots. There are also threads on the front of the cooler for screwing to the cabinet structure, as it is not a feather. And the price won’t be as light as a feather either. On the other hand, the price tag will weigh you down about as much as Madagascar. The starting price is $1649.99, which is over 36 grand (plus tax, burning fees, etc.). But if you want silence and performance, it’s a good choice.
