Galaxy A54 5G to be announced in India on March 16

As previously reported, Samsung is working on a new mid-range smartphone called the Galaxy A54 5G. Today, the company officially confirmed that its new smartphone will be unveiled in India on the 16th of March.

According to preliminary reports, the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G will feature a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is based on the 5nm Exynos 1380 processor. The smartphone will have up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal memory.

The Galaxy A54 5G's rear camera will include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. A 32-megapixel camera is also known.

The Galaxy A54 5G will be equipped with a 5000mAh battery with fast charging capability. The smartphone will be made in an IP67 protected casing. The phone will come with a UI 5.1 coverage based on Android 13.

The Galaxy A54 5G is expected to retail in India for $420 and will be available in multiple colors including black, green, purple, white and yellow.
