NVIDIA
The GeForce RTX 4070 is expected to launch on April 12th. GIGABYTE has already leaked information about the amount of video memory on this video card, and another source reports about the characteristics of the device's power supply system.
Blogger Igor'sLAB, citing its own sources, reports that NVIDIA may release two versions of the RTX 4070 graphics cards. A model with 225W TDP will have a 12VHPWR slot and will be factory overclocked. The version with two 8-pin connectors will be limited to TDP 200W, although users can increase the frequency by manual overclocking.
The information is confirmed by the authors of Videocardz, as well as a previous rumour. The ban on publishing RTX 4070 reviews and tests will be removed separately for cards with the recommended price and custom versions.
This, most likely, says that there will be different versions of video cards on the market - 12VHPWR will be installed on more expensive models.
