MINISFORUM has announced a new mini-PC called the Neptune MBG6 that is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X desktop processor and AMD Radeon RX 6600M discrete graphics for mobile devices.
It is reported that this computer is the first in the Neptune series to get a complete chip with a large cache and high clock frequency. According to the manufacturer, this should provide high system performance in games. The device also supports dual channel DDR4-3200 memory and solid state drive connection via PCIe 3.0 and SATA.
The Radeon RX 6600M installed in the computer is a discrete graphics chip for laptops with RDNA 2 architecture. It has 28 processing units as well as 8 GB of video memory. The maximum power consumption is 100W.
Pre-orders for the Neptune MBG6 will start on March 1st. Officially, sales will start on March 20 - the price of the device has not yet been disclosed.
