New Yoga line goes beyond OLED
In addition to gamers, content producers also have the most powerful GeForce RTX processors and GPUs, and even a display that promises to be even better than OLED.
Yoga is good, especially when it comes to Lenovo's new hybrid laptops! The new models made for content producers and publishers specifically bring spectacular new developments in performance and display technology. If we count the types of models equipped with AMD and Intel CPUs separately, that means a total of seven types of new Yoga PCs, in which we also find particularly powerful and high-end models and ultraportable models. Let's go from top to bottom.
Powerful Intel Core i9 CPU, GeForce RTX and Mini LED display - luxury PC for content producers.
Yoga Pro 9i – the best 360...The 8th generation Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i is the most powerful hybrid laptop ever, in which all new developments have been put by Lenovo engineers. Thanks to the significantly improved and reinforced cooling system, Intel's latest mobile CPUs and GeForce RTX GPUs can also be fitted to the 16-inch and 14.5-inch models. The Intel Core i9-13905H CPU can be connected to LPDDR5X RAM, the latest NVMe SSD and even a GeForce RTX 4070 GPU (100 W TGP), which would look good even on a gamer's computer, but this time gaming is not the priority aspect, but creation.
Another big selling point of the Yoga Pro 9i is the screen. You can choose a model equipped with 3.2K resolution, 165 Hz IPS panel with 400 nits brightness and Dolby Vision certification, but why settle for the good when you have the perfect? The machine will also be available with a Mini LED panel, which is also a 3.2K pixel, 165 Hz, but with 100% color space coverage (Adobe RGB, sRGB, DCI-P3) at 1200 nits brightness. . and of course it can be touch sensitive.
Lenovo hasn't taken the modernization in a meaningless direction, meaning a traditional USB port has remained on the side of the machine in addition to Thunderbolt 4 and you still get HDMI in addition to the also-useful SD card reader.
Yoga 7 family...The more modest Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 is also available with Intel Core and AMD Ryzen CPUs – with the latter, of course, we're talking about the 7000 models. The lightning-fast SSD and up to 32 GB of RAM are also standard here, and you can choose a 14.5" 120Hz IPS panel and 2.5K resolution for the display. Both Yoga Pro 7 models can also be selected with a discrete GPU, here the ceiling is the model will be the GeForce RTX 4050. The strength of the 1.5 kg machines is that they are capable of above average operating time with its 73 Wh battery.
The Yoga 7 pair also has 13th generation Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 CPUs at its disposal, but Lenovo already offers low-power U and P versions. The 16″ panel has 2.5K resolution, while the 14″ panel has 2.8K OLED with Dolby Vision certification. Operating time promises to be good for both Intel and AMD processors: Lenovo promises up to 20 hours of use on a single charge.
The Lenovo Yoga Slim weighs just 1.3kg and you can order it with an AMD CPU and OLED screen
Yoga Slim: AMD only...Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 and 6 thin models, only 13.9 and 14.9 mm thick, will not be available with Intel CPU, but only with AMD Ryzen. You'll also find an OLED option for the Slim 7's 14.5″ display and the Slim 6's 14″ display, and despite the 1.3 kg weight, these machines also feature relatively large, 60/65/70 Wh- s (depending on the type) the battery is hidden. Of course, all machines can also be charged via USB Type-C and you get a pre-installed Windows 11 operating system when you plug it in for the first time.
We still haven't received information about the domestic contact details and prices of the machines.
